Experience The Elster Advantage

Did you know Elster American Meter series RPM Rotary Meters are available with factory-installed Mercury products?  Yes, we will order your Mini-Max correctors or TCI indexes configured to your individual specifications, install them at our factory, and ship the meter assembly to you fully tested as an integral unit.

Do you need AMR, too?  Mercury can install, program and test your AMR devices mounted on either the Mini-Max or the TCI. Elster American Meter can then verify that the AMR device is operating properly by recording the beginning and ending meter readings during the proving process on the RPM rotary to verify the index and AMR electronic reads are synchronized and incrementing properly.

Our value propositions help save you administrative and inventory carrying costs, and provide you assurance and confidence that 100% of your  metering devices are programmed and operating properly.

The Elster Gas Depot is pleased to announce the availability of Elster Gas Depot Needle Valves.

Available in either carbon steel or stainless steel, needle valves give long-lasting, dependable service under the most severe conditions. They feature metal to metal hard seat design for a bubble tight seal and a pressure rating of 10,000 PSI. A blowout proof stem provides a secondary stem seal in the full open position. Stem packing below the threads prevents thread galling & corrosion. The stem and bonnet threads are rolled for greater strength and smoother operation, while stem and bonnet surfaces are burnished to a 16 RMS mirror finish. Carbon steel models include an electro-less nickel-plated finish. Stainless steel models include an electro-polish finish. Needle Valves are available in ¼" and ½" pipe sizes with straight and angled stem patterns, for precise flow metering.

Elster Gas Depot Needle Valves are used for many gas and liquid measurement and control applications, orifice meter gauge line connections, shut-off valves for pressure gases, odorizers, sampling devices, and other high pressure applications.

"A Simple Solution for Freezing Vents"

Weather conditions can have a serious impact on natural gas equipment. When the weather turns cold, melting snow or freezing rain can cause regulator vents to freeze shut, which can prevent the regulators diaphragm chamber from breathing, creating a potentially hazardous condition.

Elster Gas Depot Splashguards offer a simple solution for freezing vents.  This effective solution is rugged and can be easily installed in the field or at the factory.  Splashguards protect the vent screen from splashes and provide a large venting area to keep regulators working effectively, protecting  the equipment and the customer.
